The Trujillo Family- A Roswell, New Mexico Family Portrait Session

I have to say, this is by far the funnest photo session I've done to date! Let me explain... 

I've known Karin for more years than I want to admit to (she saw me in pigtails and lace socks), and she is an all around awesome person. So, when she called and asked if I could shoot their family photos, I said of course! 

Karin's family had arranged to meet in Roswell for Valentine's Day, so Justin and I packed up the van and headed down there. I was amazed at how much the town had grown since I was last there. Anyway, we agreed to meet at the New Mexico Military Institute, and shoot on campus.  

The laughs started before this group even arrived (think smart aleck text messages, and many a joke about a herd of cows) . Once we did meet up, smiles were not in short supply. 

We slowly worked our way around the beautiful campus, getting different shots, and enjoying the company and beautiful weather.  

Before we knew it, our session was over, and it was time for Justin and I to head home. I had a great time in Roswell with this awesome family, and I can't wait to do it again!
