The Flores Family: A Military Homecoming- Albuquerque, NM

I had the honor of meeting the Flores family about a month ago, at Master Sergeant Flores' homecoming ceremony. Master Sergeant Flores serves in the Red Horse Battalion of the New Mexico National Guard, and was returning from a six-month deployment to Qatar, where he helped maintain military infrastructure, and supervising the building of new roads.

This sweet family was so excited to be reunited after Master Sergeant Flores' deployment! 

Happy tears were shed and hugs were exchanged all around. A few instructions were handed out from commanders, and these honorable men and women were returned to their families.

I want to say a huge thank you to the entire Flores family for your sacrifices in serving our country. Only one spouse may actually serve, but those left behind have to remain strong in their absence, and that is no easy feat either. Thank you all, and I hope you have an amazing summer together!
