This is one of those love stories that I absolutely adore! Alex and her husband met IN BAND at Valencia High School! These two are high school sweethearts, and were expecting their first baby- a little girl!- in December (I’m really late writing this post! Sorry guys!).Read More
I honestly can’t recall how many years Dorinda and I have been friends now, but it’s been a long time. I watched as her and her husband Nick (also a good friend) became parents half way around the world (Nick was stationed in Japan with the Navy), and again after they’d been reassigned to Chicago. After they finally moved home a few years ago, I finally got to meet and cuddle their sweet kiddos. So when Nick and Dorinda announced they were expecting baby #3, I jumped at the chance to capture her pregnancy this time around!Read More
I met Rebecca several years ago in what probably appeared to be a very shady parking lot exchange of Girl Scout cookies. My troop had extra cookies, and her troop needed a few more for the end of the season. Since then, I’ve gotten to know Rebecca even better through Facebook, and I can honestly say she is incredibly smart, very witty, immensely talented, and more loving to her partner Kyle and daughter Adoli than I can describe.Read More
Jane and Jake Larson are some of the sweetest people that I’ve ever met. This past September, they welcomed their first child- a little girl named Payton. I was blessed to capture this special time in their lives- the last few weeks before they became parents and went from a family of two to a family of three.Read More
I had the opportunity to work with Monica and Kyle Honeyfield a few months ago to capture their beautiful maternity portraits. Kyle is a cowboy in every sense of the word, and they wanted to incorporate this into their session, so Kyle brought his horse, and we got permission from Europa Coffee to use their field. And, I surprised Monica with a flower crown from Ramos Flowers.Read More
I love it when I get to see clients again, and again! I first met Vanesa and Davian at my Mother's Day mini sessions last year, and it has been awesome to get to know their family over this last year.
Vanesa found out that she was expecting shortly after those mini sessions, and I couldn't help being excited for her.
In what felt like the blink of an eye (for me at least), it was time for her maternity photos. We met at the Albuquerque Botanical Gardens on a warm afternoon.
I absolutely loved the beautiful white dress Vanesa chose for her session.
Little Davian was absolutely precious when we asked him about his baby brother!
I want to wish this family a safe and healthy delivery for mama and baby in a few weeks!
Sabina, her best friend, their pooches and I had a wonderful maternity session. Sabina moved here from Illinois recently, mainly because she loves the area, and partly because she wanted to be closer to her best friend.Read More
It was truly a surprise when Brittney sent me a message saying that she was pregnant with twins and wanted me to shoot her maternity photos, but I couldn't have been happier for her, Justin, and their older daughter Rayleigh.Read More
