To Taos and Back: Day Three

I’m sorry to say that Day Three found us heading home early! We were completely worn out from this camping trip, and our one to Carlsbad not even two weeks before, plus a Cub Scout overnight a few days before that! We were all feeling tired, so we packed up and headed home.

Had we stayed, I was planning to visit the Taos Pueblo, which I’m told, is the longest continually inhabited village in North America. The pueblo is open to visitors most days, and encourages the public to ask questions and tour their public spaces.

Currently, we’re taking a few weeks at home to rest and recuperate before hitting the road again to visit the Western half of the state! I am so excited to see what we discover in the coming weeks!

Do you have a suggestion for a place we should visit in New Mexico? Drop me a comment below!
